The design spiral

Due to the discussion in the magic item thread, I started rethinking how certain basic math decisions would have to change and I immediately found myself back in the design spiral. Every decision is informed by every previous decision and any future decision ripples through and changes everything. Sometimes it's fun, sometimes it's hell, but always, it's the design spiral.
